Senior Information Technology Officer

Reports directly to the Principal IT Officer – System Administrator regarding all matters pertaining to the server systems, computer systems and network of the Samoa Airport Authority (SAA). The Senior IT Officer – System Administrator is responsible for the installation, management, support and monitoring of all SAA server systems and enterprise applications, including Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, File Server, MYOB, the Fingerprint Biometric System, Access Control System, ID System, system backups and Microsoft 365 Copilot (Cloud Technology). The position supervises the IT Helpdesk Team to ensure timely first-line support for all desktop, laptop and printer users, and oversees the CCTV System to support safe and secure airport operations. Responsible for the smooth, secure and highly available operation of all systems to ensure users get maximum benefit.

Senior Electrical Officer

Contractual

Reporting to the Principal Electrical Officer, the Senior Electrical Officer performs electrical maintenance across all airport systems, ensuring compliance with civil aviation standards. The role provides technical support, assists in staff supervision, and supports the planning and implementation of maintenance programs to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations across all SAA airports.

Principal Officer – Aviation Security Training & Development

To effectively and efficiently conduct training for the Security Services Department and assist the Manager SSD in managing the day-to-day activities of the Security Services Department and its associated functions in a cost-effective manner and in line with the requirements of Civil Aviation Rules 19, 108, 139, 140, and 141 and other relevant legislation and programs. The Principal Security Officer - Training & Development reports directly to the Manager- Security Services on all operational matters to Aviation Security.
